Understanding CV Screening
If you have enabled the CV screening feature, before the call is even triggered, Omogen can analyze the candidate's CV against your factual criteria.
💡 CV screening only applies to factual criteria that are not subject to interpretation: required diplomas, mandatory certifications, minimum years of experience, etc.
Case 1 — CV match ✅
The candidate's CV matches the expectations of the job posting. The call process is triggered automatically.
You have access to the CV analysis report on the candidate's profile:

Case 2 — CV no match ❌
The candidate is identified as "CV no match." In this case:
- The call process does not start
- The status is automatically set to "Completed"

Important: It is now up to the recruiter to take over. The candidate can continue the recruitment process, at the recruiter's decision, in 1 click.
Launch the interview anyway
If you believe a candidate deserves to be evaluated despite a CV that does not match the criteria, you can force the launch of the phone interview by clicking "Launch interview anyway".
The call process then triggers normally: the candidate will be contacted by Alex and will go through the interview like any other candidate.

When should you use this option? When the CV is incomplete or atypical but the profile seems promising. The phone interview allows you to assess the candidate's real potential beyond the CV.
