Recall SMS When a Candidate Hangs Up
When a candidate hangs up at the start of a call, Omogen can automatically send them an SMS to suggest rescheduling — without any action on your part.
Why Enable This Option?
Some candidates hang up immediately when they hear an AI voice. Without this setting, the call is simply marked as hung up and the process stops there. With the recall SMS, the candidate receives a message explaining that Alex tried to reach them following their application and inviting them to call back at any time.
Enable the Recall SMS
This setting is configured on your job posting:
- Open your job posting
- Go to the Agent tab
- In the Deployment section, find the Recall SMS on early hang-up option
- Enable the toggle
What the Candidate Receives
If a candidate hangs up early, they automatically receive an SMS such as:
"Hello [candidate first name], this is Alex from [your company]. Your profile really caught our attention! Our call got cut off. Feel free to call me back at this number. Talk soon!"
This SMS can be customised to your preferences — contact your customer manager to do so.
When Is the SMS Sent?
The SMS is triggered only if the candidate hangs up within the first seconds of the call (early hang-up). It is not sent if the interview has started normally or if the candidate does not answer.
