Appointment Booking with Candidates
Alex can offer appointment slots to candidates during the phone interview — the candidate chooses a slot and automatically receives a confirmation.
How It Works
When the calendar feature is enabled on your account, Alex includes an appointment booking step at the end of the interview. The candidate chooses from available slots and receives a confirmation by email or SMS with the appointment details.
On the recruiter side, available slots are defined in your calendar. Omogen automatically syncs with your availability.
Enable Appointment Booking
⚠️ This feature requires configuration by the Omogen team. Contact support to set it up on your account.
Once configured, appointment booking is enabled on a job posting:
- Open your job posting
- Go to the Agent tab
- Enable the Appointment booking option
Managing Your Availability
Your availability is synced via your Google Calendar. To offer slots to candidates:
- Create "Availability" events in your calendar at the desired times
- Omogen automatically detects these slots and offers them to candidates during the call
- Confirmed appointments appear directly in your agenda
What the Recruiter Sees
Confirmed appointments are visible in the candidate's profile, in the Overview tab. You'll find the date, time, and appointment status (confirmed, cancelled, completed).
Automatic Reminders
Omogen automatically sends the candidate a reminder before the appointment, by SMS or email depending on the configured channel.
